I can tell you from personal experience that sitting in the cardiac intensive care waiting room is a very frightening experience. Being the patient can’t be much better. It’s not something anyone wants to repeat. Heart rehab is a good way to avoid a repeat performance in the following ways:

Cardiovascular disease is a scary phrase, and a serious problem. There are several things that could cause it, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes are three. Understanding what the disease process can be is necessary.
