Cholesterol is an important part of our bodily functions. Many people ask what it’s used for, and you should understand how it works in our bodies.

It is a fat waxy substance naturally produced by our livers that naturally occurs in all animals and people. Cholesterol works to build up the cells in our bodies. It is believed that cholesterol can be found in every single cell of our bodies.

The problem is that most people eat too many unhealthy foods. Our bodies already make cholesterol naturally, so we only need a small amount in the foods we eat everyday.

Cholesterol is carried through the body through lipoproteins. There are two types of lipoproteins. Our bodies have low-density lipoproteins (LDL cholesterol) and high-density lipoproteins (HDL Cholesterol). read more »
